Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Haselton Media Group LLC (“we” and “us”), which runs SkateArchive.com. By using the site or making an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use SkateArchive.

1. Age

You must be 13 or older to make an account. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms for you.

2. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and use one account per person. You’re responsible for everything posted from your account. We can suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

3. Posting videos

You can post links to skateboarding videos on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Each time you post, you confirm that you filmed the video or have permission to share it. Don’t post:

videos you don’t have the rights to share
anything that isn’t skateboarding
harassment, hate, threats or bullying
sexual content or nudity
content promoting violence, weapons or illegal drugs
spam, ads or scams
someone else’s private information, or posts pretending to be someone else

The same rules apply to comments and profile pictures.

4. What you own and what you let us do

You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, embed, link to, share and promote what you post, including titles, links, comments and your profile picture, on SkateArchive and its social media accounts for as long as it’s on the site. When you delete something, this license ends, except for copies already shared or cached and records we need to keep for legal reasons.

5. Voting and removal

Community votes decide which videos reach the front page. Videos voted heavily wack are hidden automatically. We can also remove any content or account at any time, for any reason, including to comply with the law.

6. Copyright

We respond to copyright notices under our copyright and DMCA policy. Members who repeatedly post videos they don’t have the rights to share lose their accounts.

7. Videos on other platforms

Videos play from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram and are also covered by those platforms’ terms. We don’t control those services, and a video can disappear if it’s removed there.

8. Skateboarding is dangerous

Videos on SkateArchive are for entertainment. Skateboarding can cause serious injury. If you try anything you see here, you do it at your own risk.

9. No warranties

SkateArchive is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise the site will always be available, error-free or accurate.

10. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of SkateArchive, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $100.

11. Responsibility for what you post

If someone makes a claim against us because of something you posted or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using SkateArchive any time and ask us to delete your account. We can end your access if you break these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nevada. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Clark County, Nevada.

14. Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll also email members. Continuing to use SkateArchive after a change means you accept the new terms.
