éS was launched in 1995 by Sole Technology, the Southern California company run by Pierre-André Senizergues that also owns etnies and Emerica. Eric Koston and Tom Penny were among its best-known pros.
The brand is remembered for clean suede cupsoles like the Accel and the Koston 1 and for its video Menikmati. éS stopped production in 2011 and returned a few years later, bringing back its early models.
