EAMES X GLOBE EUCALYPTUS SKATEBOARD

These limited edition decks are made of eucalyptus wood from one of the very trees that Charles and Ray saw each day, trees that sheltered their home and welcomed the Monarch butterflies in Fall. In particular, tree #236 stood next to the steps by the studio for many years, It was carefully and deliberately removed as part of the Eames Foundation’s 250 year plan which protects the Eames House and its landscape. These decks represent the next life of this beautiful giant.
