The Era, first sold as Style #95 in 1976, was Vans’ first shoe made for skateboarding. Working with Z-Boys Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta, Vans added a padded collar to the Authentic pattern and offered it in two-tone colors.
It set the template for the skate shoe for years and remains a core Vans model.
